Great value accommodation with perfect setting short walk to excellent restaurants as well as sea. Good breakfast selection with sweets and a really great coffee, as example...
Beds were bad.

Nicely done, looks like a real 3* hotel.
Terrible location! It is situated next to the railway and there are huge trains coming every 30 mins... Second thing, the most annoying is the fact that there is a built-in ac in the hotel and due to that there are huge generators behind the hotel which are on 24/7 and are almost as noisy as the train... Plus built-in AC doesn't have any operating panel so you cant adjust any settings (only temperature dial) so it was dry, noisy and totally inconvenient. We had to open balcony doors, but then there those trains and the generators. So conclusion: If you wanna pick this hotel be sure you have a room facing the beach and not backyard! I am definitely not coming back.

The only good thing about this hotel is close to the beach and downtown, but it takes a little walk.
The staff speaks English poorly. Internet access in the rooms is very bad. The rooms are very small and some don't have a balcony. Hotel guests can use a few parking places in front of the hotel. For others it is very difficult to find a place nearby.

The hotel is really nice, great position( the bus stop is in front of the hotel) the private beach is lovely and clean, the breakfast was delicious, the room was big with a lovely balcony.
The parking was a nightmare and I paid 10euros per night for the private hotel parking (I think it is a bit too much).

Hotel staff was very helpful, kind and nice. Room was clean and good looking as the whole hotel. The location of the hotel was good as the railway station was close and you could walk to Taormina. We had booked the hotel for two nights but the wholeness was so good that we decided to stay there four more nights. We would definitely go there again! Special thanks to the chief and rest of the staff of the hotel!

Close to beach, on main bus route
This was not a 3 star hotel, more like a 1 star b&b, very disappointed on arrival, no bar, facilities, very minimal breakfast, just criossants, lift just about fitted 2 people and would not fulfill Health and safety regs, the rest of Hotel may have been refurbished but this was not, did not always work if doors left open on another floor. Toiletry supplies rationed to one loo roll a day, soap not replaced.Very noisy at night with Piazza discos and carnivale. On a busy through road so petrol pollution very bad indeed. A lot of money for the facilities purchased. Just Italien tv channels.... Not always tuned in... Reception signal fluctuated. Alltogether very disappointing and would not recommend.

I had a pleasant stay. the hotel was spotlessly clean and perfect. the location was perfect and excellent to walk to the train station. the room was new-fashioned, warm, and complete with a balcony, a good view, and a comfy bed. A shower, a hairdryer, and a bidet were available there. the staff was competent and very very helpful. I really enjoyed my time at the Hotel San Giovanni in Giardini Naxos. the hotel was impeccably clean, the location was convenient for getting around, and the room was cozy with all the necessary amenities.

Hotel facilities are quite good. Hotel building and rooms are modern in comparison with all other places around. Personnel was very helpful.
Hotel does not lie on the beach as pictures show. You shoulg go across the busy street and from the restaurant get to the beach. To this you should pay a fee of 5 Euro (as we were told it is usually 10 euro but for the clients of the hotel there is a discount).
